The Letterkenny Islamic Association would like to wish all Muslim brothers and sisters in Co. Donegal and all around the world a blessed month of Ramadan. The first day of Ramadan will, God willing, be on Saturday the 1st of March. May God accept the best deeds from us and from you. Ameen

Mobile Apps

Don’t forget there are also two apps – MyMasjid and PrayerTimes Ireland – for both Android and iPhone with daily prayer times. In MyMasjid, search for Isa ibn Maryam and the prayer and iqama times for our masjid will show. In Prayer Times Ireland, you can specify your location and it will display the prayer times for you. Unfortunately, prayer times for Donegal town are not available in the app.

Taraweeh Prayers

Taraweeh prayers will start tonight (Friday the 28th of February) directly after isha which is at 07:45 insha Allah. They will take place at the Isa ibn Maryam community centre as in previous years.

We pray that God accepts our acts of worship from us and from you and that we come out of the end of the month closer to Him insha Allah. Ameen.

Let us all remember our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering and cannot experience Ramadan like we can. Please remember them in your prayers.
